How to Use the Automatically Approve New Applicants Feature

You can now enable a feature to approve all applicants to your program automatically. This feature aims to cut the time to enter your program in half, saving you time and helping you scale quickly. 

If you enable this feature, anyone who gets the signup link to your program can apply and will be able to access their profile and start participating in the program immediately.

This article will outline how to enable the feature, discuss the best way to use this feature and provide best practices. 

How to Enable the Automatically Approve New Applicants Feature

You can find this feature on your application form. From the main dashboard, navigate to Settings > Application Form, and there you will find a new field called Applicant Approvals

If you tick the box and click “Save Form,” you will turn on the automatically approve new applicants feature. 

If checked, the system will automatically approve anybody applying using that application form until you reach the number of BrandChamps included in your plan. After that, future applicants will always require manual approval, so you will not be automatically charged for additional BrandChamps by enabling this.

Best Practices for Using the Automatic Approval Feature

There are a couple of best practices you can implement when utilizing this feature. Since you won't have the chance to vet ambassador applications if this feature is enabled, you can apply one of these best practices to help ensure that all ambassadors brought into your program are good fits.

  • Have a pre-vetting recruitment process outside of BrandChamp
  • Utilize the link in targeted recruitment ads 

Have a Pre-Vetting Recruitment Process Outside of BrandChamp

One solution you could implement to ensure that all applicants are a good fit for your program is to pre-vet them via an internal recruitment process.

We have worked with many BrandChamp customers with a dedicated recruiter looking for potential ambassadors on social media that could be a good fit for the program. They then invite them into a pre-vetting flow they manage outside of BrandChamp.

Once the potential ambassador has gone through the pre-vetting process, the brand can decide if they will be a good fit for the program. If the ambassador is deemed a good fit, the brand will send the ambassador the application form. Then the ambassador can fill it out and begin participating in the program immediately. 

Pro Tip: You can create a new application form and change the signup link so it isn’t easily guessable. You can do that by editing the Shareable Permalink for the form, as shown below.

This method can be tailored to fit your brand’s unique needs. Utilizing this method will ensure that each ambassador invited to the program will be a good fit. 

Utilize the Link in Targeted Recruitment Ads 

If you are looking for an effective way to recruit more BrandChamps into your program, you can create targeted recruitment ads for your ambassador program.

In those ads, you can add the link to your signup form to encourage more of your target audience to join the program. 

Potential BrandChamps can see the ad, apply to the program, and instantly start participating.
