Can we set up an activity to promote Mobile app installation?
Yes, use the built-in Mobile App Onboarding Activity template, which:
- Is only visible on mobile.
- Requires the app to be installed and notifications to be enabled before it can be marked complete.
- Provides a consistent experience across your program.
If you create a custom activity, you’ll need to manually verify who completed the installation.
What are the best ways to increase app installs?
- Offer extra rewards for completing the install.
- Communicate the benefits clearly (fast access, notifications).
- Include app instructions in your welcome emails or training materials.
- Follow up with reminders for members who haven’t installed yet.
Why can’t I find the Mobile App Onboarding Activity?
If you don’t see this activity in your library, please check your settings:
Settings > Branding > Mobile Web App Settings.
Make sure the Mobile App feature is enabled for your account.
Where can I find Mobile App settings or enable the Mobile App feature?
Navigate to Settings > Branding > Mobile Web App Settings to configure and enable the Mobile App feature for your account.
Why is the Mobile App activity template disabled for my account?
If the template is disabled, it means you already have this template in use.
Please check your activity list (both Available and Unavailable) to confirm whether the template has already been created.
How can I reward my ambassadors for installing the app?
You can set the reward amount when editing the Mobile App Onboarding Activity template. Choose the points, credits, or other incentive you’d like to offer.
