BrandChamp Logs

BrandChamp's User Logs gives admins a clearer view of important changes made on an ambassador’s account.

From the ambassador profile, admins can review a history of key updates such as tag changes, points expiry, and user info updates. Session activity is shown separately, so login history is easier to review without cluttering the main audit trail.

This helps admins quickly answer:

  • what changed
  • when it changed
  • who or what made the change

What is Ambassador Logs?

Ambassador Logs is a profile-level history view for important account updates.

It is designed to help with:

  • understanding account history
  • reviewing recent profile changes
  • checking session activity separately from other logs

The Logs area is split into two parts:

  • Audit Logs for key account updates
  • Session Logs for login/session activity

Where to find it

To view Ambassador Logs:

  1. Go to Members
  2. Open an ambassador profile
  3. Click the Logs tab

From there, you’ll see:

  • Audit Logs on the left
  • Session Logs on the right

What Audit Logs show

Audit Logs display a history of important updates made on the ambassador’s account.

Depending on the type of update, a log entry may show:

  • the category of change
  • what changed
  • the date and time
  • who or what made the update

Logs are ordered with the newest entries first, so the most recent changes are easiest to review.

Audit Log tabs

You can filter Audit Logs using tabs to focus on a specific type of update.

All

The All tab shows all available audit log types together in one feed.

Use this tab when you want a combined history of the ambassador’s profile changes.

Tags Updated

The Tags Updated tab shows changes made to the ambassador’s tags.

Each log entry shows:

  • the updated tags
  • the date and time of the update
  • who made the update, such as:
    • Admin
    • Workflow

This is useful when checking how segmentation changed over time.

Points Expiry

The Points Expiry tab shows when points were expired from the ambassador’s balance.

Each log entry shows:

  • the points expired
  • the date and time of expiry

User Info

The User Info tab shows important updates made to profile information.

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email id

This can help admins understand when account details were changed and review the sequence of profile updates.

What Session Logs show

Session Logs are shown separately from Audit Logs.

This section displays login/session activity for the ambassador and is designed to avoid cluttering the main audit history.

Session log entries can include:

  • session time
  • last activity time
  • session duration

Use Session Logs when you need to review account access history or recent activity timing.

Why Session Logs are separate

Session activity can happen much more frequently than profile updates.

To keep the Audit Logs easier to scan, session activity is shown in its own section instead of being mixed into the main change history.

Historical data and backfilled logs

Some log types may include backfilled historical data.

Because historical availability can vary by log type, you may reach the end of available data at different points depending on which tab you are viewing.

For example:

  • one log type may show several months of history
  • another may only show a shorter historical window
  • session history may cover a different time range than audit changes

When you reach the oldest available data for a tab, BrandChamp will show an end-of-history note to make it clear that you’ve reached the end of available logged data.

Common use cases

Ambassador Logs can be useful when you need to:

  • confirm when tags were updated
  • review points expiry history
  • understand when profile information was updated
  • review recent login/session activity
