How to Use the “With All” (AND) Tag Targeting Option

You can now target BrandChamps based on multiple tags using AND logic, allowing you to include only those who meet all the selected conditions.

This makes it easier to run more precise, segmented campaigns and limit visibility to the exact group you want.

Where You Can Use This

The new “With All” option is available anywhere tag-based targeting is supported, including:

  • Activities
  • Rewards
  • Referral link templates
  • Discount code sets
  • Emails (recipient filters)

How It Works

When setting up targeting, you’ll now see a dropdown with three options:

  • With any - includes BrandChamps with at least one of the selected tags (OR logic)
  • With all - includes BrandChamps who have all selected tags (AND logic)
  • Without all - excludes BrandChamps who have any of the selected tags

Example: How Each Option Works

Let’s say you have two tags:

  • US-Based
  • Gold Tier

And you want to control who can see a specific activity or reward.

Here’s how the different tag filters behave:

Filter Option

Who Gets Included

With any BrandChamps who have either US-Based or Gold Tier
With all Only BrandChamps who have both US-Based and Gold Tier
Without all BrandChamps who have neither US-Based nor Gold Tier

Use “With all” when you want to ensure someone meets all your criteria before they get access to an activity, reward, or email.

How to Use the “With All” Filter

  1. Go to any section where tag targeting is available (e.g. creating a new activity or reward).
  2. Under the Targeting or Availability settings, choose:

BrandChamps with all of the selected tags

  3. Select the tags you want to match using AND logic.
  4. Save and proceed as usual.

Pro Tips

  • Combine this with completion rules or reward limits to create high-intent workflows.
  • You can still use the "without" option to exclude users with certain tags.
  • This feature works seamlessly with our bulk tag update and CSV import features.
