Issuing unissued rewards

As described in the "Manual vs Auto Issued Rewards" section, some rewards can be set up to be auto-issued without any intervention from an administrator. Alternatively, rewards can be set up to be manually issued which means, when a BrandChamp selects a reward, it goes into a queue of unissued rewards which an administrator must review and click to issue.

To view the list of these unissued rewards, click the "Rewards" page link in the admin nav bar. An example screen is shown below:

Each line represents a reward selected by a BrandChamp.

Depending on the type of reward, the "Reference" field needs to be filled out in a different way, as described below, before an administrator clicks to Issue the reward.

Once a reward is issued, the reference value is made available in the email a BrandChamp will receive and in the "Rewards" section of the BrandChamp portal.

All issued rewards can be viewed in the "Issued" tab.

Notifications

BrandChamps will receive an email at most once a day with details of all rewards issued for them in the last 24 hours. By default these emails are sent at 8pm every day but the time can be changed in your the Settings area.

Note: auto-issued rewards are not included in these emails as the BrandChamp will be able to see those rewards immediately in their portal after confirming their selection.

BrandChamps can view all their issued and unissued rewards in the Rewards section of the BrandChamp portal.

Issuing Shopify Discounts

Creating Discount In Shopify

To have BrandChamp create a discount in your Shopify store, click the "Create Discount in Shopify" radio button. This will pre-populate a random discount code which will be used to create the discount when you click the "Issue" button:

You can optionally edit this code before issuing the reward.

Using Existing Discount Code

If you have an existing discount code you'd like to use, click the "Enter existing code" and paste the code into the Discount code input field.

Clicking the "Issue" button, in this case  will not create a Discount in your Shopify store.

Issuing Shopify Gift Cards

An unissued Shopify Discount reward row looks like the following:

To issue this reward, you can either have the BrandChamp system automatically create a Gift Card in your Shopify store or you can enter the code from an existing gift card.

Note: You must have a Shopify Plus account in order to automatically create Gift Cards. If you do but you receive an error the first time you attempt to issue a gift card reward, it's most likely because your Shopify account manager needs to enable that feature first. Creating Gift Card In Shopify

To have BrandChamp create a gift card in your Shopify store, click the "Create Gift Card in Shopify" radio button. This will pre-populate a random code which will be used to create the gift card when you click the "Issue" button:

You can optionally edit this code before issuing the reward.

Note: As an extra security measure, the auto-generated gift card will be linked to the Shopify customer email displayed (which the BrandChamp themselves configure on first issuing of a gift card) so that the gift card may only be redeemed with that Shopify customer account.

Using Existing Discount Code

If you do not have a Shopify Plus account or you simply have an existing gift card code you'd like to use, click the "Enter existing code" and paste the code into the input field.

Clicking the "Issue" button in this case will not create a Gift Card in your Shopify store.
