Referral Order Not Showing in BrandChamp
Important: Only orders that have not been canceled and have not been refunded are eligible for referral rewards.
If you don’t see an order in BrandChamp, please check the following in your Shopify or WooCommerce admin:
Confirm Order Status
Shopify:
- The order must not be canceled or fully refunded.
Note: Referral tracking in Shopify is now handled via WebPixel. You will not see a brandchamp_ref
field in the order details. Referrals are recorded automatically through the WebPixel and synced to BrandChamp once the order is placed.
WooCommerce:
- The order status should be Completed.
If an order came in via a referral link, you will see a brandchamp_ref
field in the Custom Fields section with the referral code.
Confirm Discount Code Setup
- The original Referral Link Template or Discount Code Set is still available
- Ensure order state is correct as described above
- It can take up to 30 minutes to fetch a new order and calculate any referral
- If a referral discount code was used, it should appear on the order in your store’s admin.
- The same code must have been added to BrandChamp before the order was placed.
